Procurement and Logistics is a critical department within DEME Group, responsible for managing the sourcing of goods and services required for the company's projects and operations. The team's main objective is to ensure that the right resources are available at the right time, in the right quantity, and at the best possible cost, while adhering to quality and safety standards.
As a Category Buyer Machinery Equipment for DEME Group, you will implement sourcing strategies, take the lead in managing a portfolio of preferred suppliers, build up extensive market knowledge, work together with internal stakeholders to strive for best fit solutions and be an advocate of procurement best practices within the organization. You will take the lead in the procurement process and tendering of Machinery Equipment needed in the execution of projects within the activity lines of our DEME group. You will report to the Category Manager Building and Material Handling Equipment and work from our HQ in Zwijndrecht, Belgium.
As a Project Manager for dockings you are responsible for the overall management of the project. This will include activities like major repairs, mobilisations and modifications of our fleet. Depending on the size, you will manage one or more projects simultaneously.

As a Tender Manager your focus will be on producing high quality bid submission documents that are aligned with the expectations of our client and in compliance with our internal governance procedures. You will manage all aspects of the tendering procedure, including technical, financial, schedule, contractual, regulatory, health & safety. etc. You will liaise closely with our supporting departments, subcontractors and partners to produce creative and cost-effective solutions to meet the needs of the project and obtain final sign-off by management prior to submission.
To ensure a smooth operational planning of our equipment for our projects, we are currently looking for an asset officer. You will be supporting the dredge pipe department with the follow up of dredging assets on laydowns and on projects worldwide. Dredging assets consist of dredgepipes and other auxiliary equipment.
