Summary

As database administrator you are responsible to maintain our databases and improve these according to the needs of the needs of our department and the whole organization.

You create models for new database development and make changes to existing ones.
Install and configure relevant network components to ensure database access as well as database consistency and integrity.
Monitor database system details within the database, including stored procedures and execution time.
Monitor, optimize and allocate physical data storage for database systems.
Plan and coordinate data migrations between systems.
Perform database transaction and security audits.
Manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team

You have a bachelor or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 5 years equivalent work experience.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft SQL server & Azure SQL services (other database technologies is a plus)
Thorough knowledge of ETL and data processing methods.
Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
Working technical experience with designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting database servers, including Microsoft SQL server and the Sql server suite (SSAS, SSIS, Azure SQL, etc. …)
Knowledge of Azure devops is a plus.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
Highly self motivated and directed.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
