You will be supporting current development, while also are open to a more versatile role of tackling configuration and integration demands within the platform in the future.

Within our Safety by Design (SBD) team, you’ll join a small, highly technical group that looks at engineering from another angle: ensuring every vessel and installation is designed with safety, accessibility and maintainability in mind — from the first sketch to the final build.

As a Technical Engineer - Safety by Design, you assess and improve the ergonomic design and technical safety of both newbuild and existing vessels and installations. You translate 2D plans into 3D insights, challenge project teams where needed and ensure all designs meet DEME’s Safety by Design standards.
