Within the DEME IT organization, we are setting up a DevOps governance process, that will also support departments outside of the IT environment. To accelerate this, we are looking for an experienced DEVOPS engineer who contributes with her/his experience and knowledge to the success of this roll-out.
As a Business Unit Manager / Department Manager, you will be part of the commercial Landfalls and Umbilical’s team, you will implement and ensure the realization of the commercial and/or business plan, build and strengthen client relations as well as develop, structure and manage (commercial activities within) the assigned area/unit in line with the overall business strategy, in order to realize commercial and business objectives. Moreover, you will work on Business Development and lead a team of 17 Tender Engineers and Tender Managers.
A Yard Manager supervises the day-to-day operations of a yard for storage of company equipment. This includes assigning jobs to workers and monitoring their progress, coordinating loading and unloading activities, tracking inventory, and ensuring tasks are completed on time. The Yard Manager may also conduct maintenance on machinery and equipment and proper documentation of maintenance, as well as updating projects about their shipments. Overall, the Yard Manager is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the yard.
As a Cable Installation Engineer you will focus on a variety of challenging cable installation related topics. You will assist our tender and project teams with engineering support during both preparation and execution phase. The engineering department in Breda consist of approx. 30 employees and you will work in a close-knit, international team of 8 cable installation engineers. As a Docking Team Leader, you will be responsible to coordinate mobilization and docking projects for our whole fleet worldwide. You will coordinate the projects, taking care of the schedule, budget and QHSE aspects, among others.
Within this role, you will work on mobilization, dockings, commission, maintenance and repair of technical assets, analyses and improve equipment’s performance, in line with internal business demands and QSHE-S guidelines, in order to contribute to a high-quality, reliable and safe equipment against optimal costs and to optimally enable Operations to execute client projects.
