As a Mobilization Team Leader, you will be responsible to coordinate mobilization projects for our Offshore Activity Line fleet at the Deme Offshore Base in Vlissingen. You will coordinate the projects taking care schedule, budget and QHSE aspects, among others.
Within this role, you will work on mobilization, commission, maintenance and repair of technical assets, analyses and improve equipment’s performance, in line with internal business demands and QSHE-S guidelines, in order to contribute to a high-quality, reliable and safe equipment against optimal costs and to optimally enable Operations to execute client projects. As Project engineer you will be involved in marine infrastructure/civil projects (i.e. port & harbor constructions, immersed tunnels, tunneling and foundation works) that complement and reinforce DEME’s activities. New projects such as the Fehmarnbelt link between Denmark and Germany, the new lock of Terneuzen and many other projects, require a multidisciplinary and innovative approach.

As an equipment engineer at DEME Offshore you assist all internal departments with engineering support for project execution, new equipment development, structural calculations / checks and improvements on existing equipment.
The engineering department in Breda consist of approximately 25 employees. You will work in a close-knit, international team of 8 Equipment and CAD engineers responsible for, amongst other things, design of mission specific equipment for our cable and rock installation operations, perform structural calculations and check structural calculations from others.
