As a Desk Engineer, you contribute to or manage the tender process, ensure planning of resources, execution of calculations and maintain client contact, in line with tender requirements, in order to realize a project proposal that fits client needs optimally and which is in line with DEME’s strategic objectives.

As a Mission Equipment Expert, you will be responsible for dedicated technical follow-up of certain types of Mission Equipment such as drill rigs, Monopile grippers, Cable Installation System, trencher, Modiga and deck cranes (among others). You will work for our mobilization projects for our Offshore Activity Line fleet at the Deme Offshore Base in Vlissingen.
Within this role, you will work on mobilization, commissioning, maintenance and repair of technical assets, analyses and improve equipment’s performance, in line with internal business demands and QSHE-S guidelines, in order to contribute to a high-quality, reliable and safe equipment against optimal costs and to optimally enable Operations to execute client projects. As Technical Superintendent Offshore, you work as part of one of our vessel teams, where you will be responsible for the coordination of maintenance and repairing activities of vessel(s) assigned and/or its equipment or other assets. Your main base will be at our HQ in Belgium or in our office in Breda, the Netherlands.

As a tender engineer you will be involved in marine infrastructure/civil projects (i.e. port & harbor constructions, immersed tunnels, tunneling and foundation works) that complement and reinforce DEME’s activities. This activity line has a total of 150 employees and you will be part of the tender team.
As a Tender Engineer you will play a key role in the preparation and submission of our innovative proposals. You will be part of an international, multidisciplinary team of 6 to 15 members, supported and coached by an experienced Desk or Tender Manager. As a member of the Tender Department, you will be allocated to one or several tender teams and will report for each tender to the Tender Manager. In this position you will collaborate with different parties and you will be the first link to our bright future. At the moment, we are looking for new colleagues for the Rock Placement and Landfalls departments.
