As an Equipment Engineer, you assist internal departments at DEME Offshore with engineering support for project execution, new equipment development and improvements on existing equipment. You will collaborate with other engineers as well as tender, project and operational teams to prepare functional equipment designs and vessel deck layouts of equipment. Moreover, you will manage the interface between engineering, subcontractors and people on board of our vessels;
This position is based at our DEME Offshore Office in Breda, The Netherlands, and you can make use of our other DEME offices.
Being part of the design and engineering department, the geotechnical engineer assists the tender and project teams to recognize and mitigate geotechnical related constraints, from tender until execution stage.
This requires full understanding of employer’s requirements and project execution constraints. Most projects require evaluation of the soil information, leg penetration analysis, drivability analysis and related boundary conditions. In case of design and build contracts, the review of the design basis will be required.

DEME Offshore Geotechnical engineers will assist the tender and project team mainly from the DEME head office in Zwijndrecht. Sporadic travel abroad might be required for meetings with designers or clients or for assistance on board of the vessels.
Within the geotechnical department we strive to provide the best service to the tender department in limited time; we optimize by automating (Python) and do advanced FE studies if of added value.
As GIS Engineer, you will be part of the multipurpose GIS department with specialization in the geophysical, geotechnical and environmental fields in which G-Tec is active. You will also be fully included in projects as a specialist in cartography, data management and analysis. Data design and management.

Your role will mainly be performed from the G-Tec office in Milmort and at our client’s premises. Working from home is also a possibility.
The BISS Operations Helpdesk Team is responsible for supporting the workstations of all DEME employees. As an IT Helpdesk Operator, you are part of the worldwide support and you are the contact for all employees. You help these employees with their questions, requests and reports of faults. You will work from the head office and can rely on the support of your immediate colleagues. You report to the team leader of the Helpdesk Team and to the BISS Operations Manager.
As a project engineer in the fleet engineering department, you are responsible for the follow up of engineering projects related to our fleet. You will work on highly innovative projects for our modern and versatile fleet. The main working location will be our headquarters in Antwerp, but you will also occasionally travel to the vessels.
As a System Engineer you are responsible for the design, configuration and support of our IT installations worldwide. Next to that you provide general network support and you give internal trainings when you feel it's needed.
