As an Asset Coordinator Lifting / Mission Equipment Owner Rigging, you will be part of our Technical Department team and work on challenging projects.
This position is based at our mobilization and demobilization base in Vlissingen, The Netherlands.
As a Category Buyer for DEME Group, you will develop and implement sourcing strategies for a defined set of commodities, take the lead in managing a portfolio of preferred suppliers, build up extensive market knowledge, work together with internal stakeholders to strive for best fit solutions and be an advocate of procurement best practices within the organization. As a Category Buyer within the team “Machinery Equipment” you will take the lead – on a tactical/strategic level – in procurement of equipment and services within the following categories: hydraulic, electromechanical, propulsion systems and other technical hardware. You will work in a team of 10 people, consisting of operational and category buyers. You will mainly work from our HQ in Zwijndrecht, Belgium.
The Category Manager Consumables drives and implements strategic planning and category management for all categories involving the supply of standard goods or consumables. This role secures up-to-date market knowledge and defines category strategies. In this position, you are responsible for sourcing, negotiation, supplier management but also supervise the R2P process to ensure on time and full compliant delivery of a large volume of goods.
The Category Manager HR services drives and implements strategic planning and category management for a group of categories connected to HR including contingent workforce, recruiting services, training services, payroll services, etc. In a second stage the scope could be extended to other connected categories. This role secures up-to-date market knowledge and defines category strategies. In this position, you are responsible for sourcing, negotiation and overall supplier management for large volumes and/or complex processes.
Within our Fleet Organisation, which ensures all maintenance and technical management of our fleet of dredging and offshore vessels, you work in the team that is responsible for managing all vessel certificates. These are all certificates required according to the International Maritime Organisation’s standards (such as classification , Flag State, …).
You provide support to our Technical Superintendents and Vessel Managers for all certificate related matters, answer their questions, assist them in applying for and obtaining the necessary documents and assist in the implementation of new regulations, … . Outside DEME, your main contacts are government agencies and classification societies.
For DEME, process improvement to enhance business performance is of uttermost importance. Therefore we have an internally-developed methodology based on the principles of Lean and Six Sigma to support and guide strategic projects from scratch. Currently we are looking for a Continuous Improvement/Project Controls Engineer to join the team.
As a Data Analytics Specialist (Project Controls), you will focus on Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Analytics for Offshore construction projects. You will be part of a Project Controls and Data Analytics team that is responsible to provide data solutions for different audiences ranging from project teams offshore to top management. The team sets reporting standards for DEME Offshore and ensures that projects and tenders comply with the requirements. As part of the team, you will be working on technical aspects (developing data input forms/tools, transforming data), as well as data interpretation and visualization for business users.
We are searching for a dedicated business or data analyst with a positive ‘can-do’ mentality who can capture the user’s need and create intuitive systems and processes. As a business or data analyst you will play a vital role in improving our internal way of working with better systems, processes and getting valuable insight out of data. Programming is not a must but it is essential that you have experience with digital tools and data platforms (f.e. SQL) and have a truly analytical mindset. Thanks to your experience with statistical principals, your project management skills and your change mindset, you see potential for optimizing current business processes.

As a Desk Engineer, you contribute to or manage the tender process, ensure planning of resources, execution of calculations and maintain client contact, in line with tender requirements, in order to realize a project proposal that fits client needs optimally and which is in line with DEME’s strategic objectives.
As a Docking Team leader you will be working on the dockings of our dredging and offshore fleet worldwide. You will be working in a multidisciplinary team managing various aspects of the docking projects.
