As a Cable Lay Supervisor, you will work on board of one of our offshore vessels and be responsible for the loading, transporting and installation of subsea cables. You will lead a team on board and will coordinate all necessary works and stakeholders to make sure cable is laid in the most safe and optimal way. The Category Manager Consumables drives and implements strategic planning and category management for all categories involving the supply of standard goods or consumables. This role secures up-to-date market knowledge and defines category strategies. In this position, you are responsible for sourcing, negotiation, supplier management but also supervise the R2P process to ensure on time and full compliant delivery of a large volume of goods.
As a Category Manager Shipyards for DEME Group, you will drive and implements strategic planning and category management. As a Junior Category Buyer for DEME Group, you will develop and implement sourcing strategies for a defined set of commodities, take the lead in managing a portfolio of preferred suppliers, build up extensive market knowledge, work together with internal stakeholders to strive for best fit solutions and be an advocate of procurement best practices within the organization. As a Junior Category Buyer within the team “Machinery Equipment” you will take the lead – on a tactical/strategic level – in procurement of equipment and services within the assigned technical category. You will work in a team of 10 people, consisting of operational and category buyers. You will mainly work from our HQ in Zwijndrecht, Belgium.

As an Operational Buyer Team Coordinator for DEME Group, you will coordinate a team of operational buyers to achieve R2P (Request to Pay) given objectives. You will constantly analyse operational KPIs and data in order to suggest improvements and solve issues. You will serve as SPOC (single point of contact) for our operational team to handle overall communication. You will also perform duties as Operational buyer in part of your time. You will Report to the Lead Category Manager of Shipyards and Machinery Equipment.
As a Payroll Administrator, you will ensure that our payroll administration in our growing organization remains perfect. You will work in a team of 5 people based in Breda and carry out various payroll activities for our national, international and maritime employees.
As a Project Engineer you will play a key role in the preparation and execution of our offshore projects. You will collaborate with employees of all nationalities and disciplines and you might work on board of our vessels, on the project site or in one of our offices.
