For DEME, process improvement to enhance business performance is of uttermost importance. Therefore we have an internally-developed methodology based on the principles of Lean and Six Sigma to support and guide strategic projects from scratch. Currently we are looking for a Continuous Improvement/Project Controls Engineer to join the team.
As a Data Analytics Specialist (Project Controls), you will focus on Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Analytics for Offshore construction projects. You will be part of a Project Controls and Data Analytics team that is responsible to provide data solutions for different audiences ranging from project teams offshore to top management. The team sets reporting standards for DEME Offshore and ensures that projects and tenders comply with the requirements. As part of the team, you will be working on technical aspects (developing data input forms/tools, transforming data), as well as data interpretation and visualization for business users.
As Expert Geotechnical Engineer, you are an internal consultant to the (geotechnical) engineering team. You will be part of an international team of 10 engineers and support both tenders and projects within our Offshore Activity Line.
You work in our Zwijndrecht offices as part of our Hydrodynamics team dealing with the technical preparation of our marine engineering projects worldwide.
Within the Hydrodynamics team, you can work on various aspects.
As a Project Procurement Engineer you will play a key role in the preparation and execution of our offshore projects. You will be the first point of contact for the project for any procurement related matter from tender to execution. You will make sure that all procurement knowledge (e.g. processes, tools, expertise) is available and clear to all project members, and will take the lead of an internal Cross Functional Team that consists of different disciplines (Engineering, QHSE, Legal, Finance and Tendering, among others).
As a Simulator Engineer at DEME Offshore, you are involved with the planning and execution of offshore operation and heavy lift simulations and the prototyping of new methods and mission equipment. You will provide simulator engineering support prior to and during tendering and project execution and follow-up on offshore performance for simulator improvements.
As Simulator Engineer, you are part of the Methods Engineering & Equipment and Technology Development group which develops transport and installation methods for the different DEME Offshore activities safeguarding technical feasibility, operational efficiency and workability. Additionally, the team develops the required equipment for the projects focused on safe and efficient operations, ensuring high workability and accelerating the pace of innovation. These developments are coordinated in close cooperation with the commercial and operational departments to ensure solutions are fit for purpose.
This multi-disciplinary position is based at our Headquarters in Zwijndrecht, Belgium.
