As a Cable Installation Engineer you will focus on a variety of challenging cable installation related topics. You will assist our tender and project teams with engineering support during both preparation and execution phase. The engineering department in Breda consist of approx. 25 employees and you will work in a close-knit, international team of 8 cable installation engineers. Together you will work on our bright future.
On our vessel Omalius, the drillers are responsible to bring our geotechnical soil investigation projects to a good end, under supervision of the Works Manager. The team consists of Assistant drillers, Drillers, and a Drilling Supervisor. The Rig Mechanic supports the drill team for all maintenance-associated activities and reports to the vessel’s Chief Engineer. Everybody needs to work together as real team players. G-tec is a specialised contractor and consultant in geophysics, geotechnics, engineering geology and environment and part of the DEME Offshore group. G-tec operates around the world on land and at sea with a highly qualified and motivated team of civil engineers, earth scientists, hydrographers, biologists and electronic engineers providing efficient and innovative solutions for ground investigation and hydrographic surveys, completely in line with the client's demands and requirements. As a Party chief, you will be part of the project team for our geophysical and geotechnical activities. You will collaborate with and guide employees of several nationalities and disciplines, whether that is on board of our vessels, on the project or in one of our offices.
Involved in all dredging and offshore projects worldwide, the survey department is responsible for the organisation of all hydrographic and topographic measurements in all phases of the works. For our offshore fall pipe vessels, we are looking for a party chief that will be responsible for all survey activities on board. Are you able to lead the team of surveyors?
As a Project Controls Engineer, you will analyze and monitor the project execution of our Offshore Installation projects. You will make sure projects run according to planning, and you will identify risks and opportunities and make suggestions for optimization of our activities.
