DEME’s infra activity line is involved in marine infrastructure and civil works that complement and reinforce the company’s dredging activities. These include the design and construction of hydraulic works such as jetties, port terminals, locks and weirs; infrastructural works such as bored, immersed and cut and cover tunnels, foundation and marine works for bridges or other constructions in a marine or fluvial environment, as well as civil works for harbor construction, dams and sea defenses, canal construction, revetment, quay wall construction and shore protection.
As a Drawing Engineer for the infra activity line you will focus on the development of technical solutions for these complex civil and maritime works.
Are you up for a unique and challenging experience?
We are regularly looking for young professionals. Therefore we offer students who study at a Belgian or Dutch University the opportunity to do an internship or graduation project at our projects (mainly in Belgium or the Netherlands).
You can find us every year at various recruitment fairs at engineering schools or universities, as well as professional events and seminaries.
We have internships and graduation projects available for students studying civil engineering.
As Project engineer you will be involved in marine infrastructure/civil projects (i.e. port & harbor constructions, immersed tunnels, tunneling and foundation works) that complement and reinforce DEME’s activities. New projects such as the Fehmarnbelt link between Denmark and Germany, the new lock of Terneuzen and many other projects, require a multidisciplinary and innovative approach.
