As a Corporate Legal Assistant to the Legal Department, you will support and contribute to the swift operations of the company’s Legal Department. You will work at the head office of the company in Zwijndrecht, where you will join a highly qualified and motivated team of legal and insurance counsels, engaged in providing legal expertise to the company. This role requires good organization and communication skills in a fast-paced and high energy environment.
As a project manager for our new build department, you will share responsibility and provide leadership, on a day to day basis, for the engineering and/or construction and commissioning of new vessels. You will be involved in all the phases of the project and will be working both from the office in Antwerp and from various shipyards. You will be part of a team that is known to have developed and built state of the art, pioneering vessels in its industry!
As a Project Controls Engineer you will be temporary assigned to provide support and assistance during the start-up of a project after contract award. You will analyse the employer requirements and implement according to the corporate Project Management System (PMS) as best fit for the project. You are the key person in making sure that the minimum of processes & tools are implemented for Schedule, Contract, Interface and Cost management.
With your experience you will create and improve the content in the PMS and will coordinate the alignment of PMS-content between Activity Lines. You need to be familiar with all phases of project management and have to be able to work with people of diverse backgrounds. You like to understand quality control concepts and you are good in developing creative and innovative ways to improve business processes.

As a Tender Planning Engineer, you will be temporary assigned to provide support and assistance during the tender phase until the hand-over to the project team. Based on the Scope of Work, employer requirements and scheduling guidelines you will prepare the level 3 contractual baseline schedule. You will run and analyze various scenarios for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction of our projects. You will help to identify project risks and opportunities and make suggestions for optimization of our activities. Together, we work on DEME’s vision of creating a sustainable future.
