The Category Manager Consumables drives and implements strategic planning and category management for all categories involving the supply of standard goods or consumables. This role secures up-to-date market knowledge and defines category strategies. In this position, you are responsible for sourcing, negotiation, supplier management but also supervise the R2P process to ensure on time and full compliant delivery of a large volume of goods.
The Category Manager HR services drives and implements strategic planning and category management for a group of categories connected to HR including contingent workforce, recruiting services, training services, payroll services, etc. In a second stage the scope could be extended to other connected categories. This role secures up-to-date market knowledge and defines category strategies. In this position, you are responsible for sourcing, negotiation and overall supplier management for large volumes and/or complex processes.
As a Coastal/Hydraulic Engineer you will focus on a wide variety of challenges. Those challenges include hydraulic engineering questions, the design of scour protection for offshore wind farm or the design of rock berms for the protection of subsea assets such as power cables or pipelines. You will be responsible for the assessments and sound output to support our project and tender teams or work on one of the many R&D projects.
The engineering department in Breda consist of approximately 25 employees. You will work in a close-knit, international team of 6 Hydraulic and Geotechnical engineers responsible for, amongst other things, the design of bottom protection on and around subsea assets, the cable protection strategy and the cable route design. There are no direct supervisory responsibilities although you’ll act as a coach and advisor for others.
You will report to the HR BP Group Manager.
