In order to strengthen our Tax Department, DEME is currently seeking to recruit 2 Deputy International Tax Managers, for servicing the Offshore Energy segment and the Concessions segment on one hand, and the Dredging & Infra segment and the Environmental segment on the other hand.
The primary purpose of this function is to minimize (corporate) tax risks and manage tax costs for the respective segments of DEME and to support the business to ensure they optimize opportunities and minimize risk in managing tax issues and comply with relevant tax laws and regulations. This function reports to the respective segments’ International Tax Manager. The latter both report to the Head of Tax.
The following tasks needs to be managed, analyzed and dealt with in order to (i) generally mitigate and minimize the various segments’ tax risks, (ii) optimize the operational and legal set-up so as to minimize tax costs, (iii) manage local external tax audits and disputes of a significant value, (iv) structure transactions tax-efficiently so as to minimize tax exposures and tax costs:

The mission of the Internal Audit & Advisory Services department is to provide independent, objective assurance that DEME’s risk management, governance, business and internal control processes are operating effectively. It helps the Group, and its affiliates accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve these processes through audits, recommendations and consulting activities.
Within DEME, the Internal Audit team conducts audit engagements following a risk-based audit plan and reports the result of these assessments to the Audit Committee, the Executive Committee and relevant stakeholders.
Under the supervision of the Director of Internal Audit, you will assist in the different audit engagement steps (preparation, audit fieldwork, and audit reporting.

The Senior Finance Controller faces the challenge of supporting the vessel manager during the entire vessel’s life cycle, meaning from newbuilding till the end of a vessel’s lifetime. The ideal controller pursues a financial role with coordinating responsibilities in a technical environment.

As a strong financial modeler, the Senior Financial Analyst is co-responsible for helping originate, structure, analyze, execute, and monitor debt financings and equity investments, with focus on renewable energy.
